THE JAPAN SERIES

These quilts were conceived after a 1998 Fulbright Fellowship to Japan.
They are composed of machine pieced cyanotype photographs on either colored commercial or hand dyed cottons and, in some cases, are embroidered
and appliquéd.

THE GALAPAGOS SERIES

These quilts were conceived after a 1993 trip I took to the Galapagos.  It was an ethereal, magical, other-worldly experience including fantastic colors, textures and animals with whom I unexpectedly
fell in love.
